Lisa earned a Master’s in Social Work from Boston College, where she developed a passion for working with children and teens from diverse backgrounds. She is originally from the northern Virginia area, but made Austin her home in 2022. She is a proud bilingual therapist speaking both English and Spanish. Over the years, Lisa has helped children, teens, and their families get through moments of crisis, repair relationships, and reach mental wellness goals. She specializes in helping those struggling with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, relationships, and trauma. Lisa has a compassionate approach to help clients feel safe and understood within the therapy space while using different treatment modalities that best fit each client, such as play therapy, sand tray, art-based therapy, solution-focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, EMDR and family therapy.
